Give 2.5 cm of paste once a day for 2 to 3 days to start the treatment. Then keep to a dose of 1.5 cm a day, 2 to 3 times a week, to prevent new hairballs from forming. Make sure your cat has access to fresh water at all times, which helps with digestion and with the passing of hair.

Tips and tricks:

Work it into the routine: If your cat is reluctant to take the paste on its own, mix it with a small amount of its favorite wet food to mask the taste.

Regular brushing: Along with using the paste, brush your cat regularly to remove dead hair and reduce the amount of hair it swallows.
