Peach Matcha Tea

To get the most out of peach matcha tea, here are two preparation methods, depending on what you feel like:

Hot matcha:
Start with 1 teaspoon for each cup (250 ml).
Heat the water to 70-85°C (158-185°F).
Pour half of it over the matcha in a bowl.
Whisk briskly to dissolve the powder completely and obtain a light foam.
Add the rest of the water or some frothed milk for a creamy latte.
Whisk again to get the perfect texture.

Iced matcha:
Prepare the base by following the steps for hot matcha:
Transfer to a shaker with ice.
Add unfrothed milk for an iced latte or cold water for a lighter version.
Shake vigorously until the mixture is smooth.
Adjust the amount of matcha to the final volume you want, taking the ice into account: 1 spoon for 250 ml, 2 for 500 ml, 3 for 750 ml.

Tips and tricks:

Add flavor: Add a touch of peach syrup, vanilla or a little honey to bring out the natural sweetness of the matcha.

Vary the milks: Try different options such as almond, coconut or soy milk to create a unique latte every time.

Get creative: For extra enjoyment, sprinkle a little cinnamon or cocoa powder on top to add a small indulgent touch.
