How to use
HOT
Add 1 tsp of Awakening Green tea to 250 ml of water at 80 to 85 °C. Steep for 2 to 3 minutes, then strain.
Avoid water that is too hot or a steep that runs too long, so the bitterness of green tea stays in check.
ICED
Brew the tea as directed, let it cool, then serve it over ice. Add a few mint leaves or a slice of lemon just before serving.
WORTH A TRY
To bring out the lemon notes, add a slice of lemon or lime. A little honey can also be added to soften the tartness.
WHEN TO DRINK IT
Naturally caffeinated, Awakening Green tea is especially suited to the morning or the early afternoon, depending on your sensitivity to caffeine.
